Taylor Jones serves as an advisor in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr., working on energy and
environmental policy. In this role, Taylor focuses on zero-emission vehicle infrastructure planning and
development, as well as sustainable buildings and environmental health issues. Prior to joining the
Governor’s Office staff in this capacity, Taylor was an Executive Fellow in the Governor’s Office Energy
and Environmental Unit, leading the Governor’s Interagency Rail Safety Working Group in response to
increases in oil transported by rail. Taylor previously worked as a regulatory analyst at Advanced Energy
Economy, examining the impact of public utility commissions nationwide, and as an intern at the White
House Council on Environmental Quality. Taylor holds a B.A. in Environment, Economics and Politics
from Claremont McKenna College
